Do You Struggle To Make It Through Your Day?


I know how it feels to have constant low energy but want to feel fantastic all day…I know how it feels to fall into bed after a long day at work (when the sun is still up)…


I’ve canceled dinner plans with friends because it would take too much effort to get there…


I realized that feeling exhausted all of the time was no way to live so I found four steps to take every day to feel enthusiastic and engaged in my life!


1. Mindset
Find a mantra that feels good to you and repeat it to yourself throughout the day as you feel your energy start to fade. This is the phrase I like to repeat to myself, “I am taking this time to be calm, I am restoring and rebuilding my energy.”



2. Nutrition
Make sure to eat foods that give you energy instead of zap your energy. I know for me I need to stay away from carbs, when I eat them I can feel my body start to lose energy. Instead, in the afternoon I will eat a hard-boiled egg, greek yogurt or an apple with almond butter to make sure I’m giving my body enough protein.



3. Fitness
Move your body every day! It’s true that exercising actually gives you energy. You don’t need to spend an hour at the gym every day. No matter how little time you think you have, take a timeout for a quick 10-minute walk.



4. Have Fun
There’s no right or wrong way to do it. Pick an activity you enjoy and do it -work a puzzle, chat with friends, do some gardening, or go dancing. If you enjoy it and find it fun – it will help restore energy!
